| Tighten Up @ The Prince, Brixton. 2nd May 2009 Tim P & Mr Brown with guest Stephen T (Mister Soundtapes) Champion and Clappers Priest did most of the mic work, but quite a few others had a go later. For some reason though the recording didn't pick up the mcs! Classics and rareties from the 60s and 70s As the guest I didn't play too long- about an hour over two sets so you mostly hear Tim P & Mr Brown selecting with me dropping a few at the beginning and end of the recording. the mini disc of the first part of the night failed so you just have the later part from 12.30 till 3.00. It was a good night for me with some good friends passing through. the Victoria line was closed, it was Bank Holiday weekend and there was a nice revival dance going on in North London so the turnout wasn't great early on but later more people showed up and the dance floor was rammed!   |
