Thanks for this Jayman. I enjoyed hearing it but realised that this came from my original 1981/82 home edit and EQ of the original tape I got from a friend which had been recorded on a portable in the Bali Hai with auto recording levels. The original volume levels were all over the place and as I copied to another tape I had to try and smooth out the worst of the peaks by hand and boost the treble on those peaks as the voice kept disappearing into the bass signals. It was done in a very low-tech era. Glad that it survived and is now in the public domain. Any more tapes from the first Ray Symbolic UK tour anywhere?
